Care Guide

We've got you covered!

First time owner? Don't be afraid to put your new pottery piece to use. Our designs are formed with functionality in mind. Our goods are known as stoneware. This means our creations are made with a specific clay body, that when heated to high temperatures in the kiln, yield a non-porous, impenetrable effect on the surface, ie. vitrified. Our glazes are also food safe.

There are certain precautions to take to keep your pottery from being damaged though: Do not place cold pottery in a hot oven or hot pottery on a wet surface! Never cook on a stove top with your pottery, Do not pour boiling water in a piece that was in the freezer, if you are going to bake something in your pottery place it in the oven before turning the oven on, and, if you drop it on the floor it might break...oops! Our kitchen- and house-wares are generally designed for everyday wear and use just keep the general rule of not causing extreme temperature changes too quickly. With this in mind, know that your piece should remain in excellent form for many years to come.

Enjoy & keep on sipping from that favorite mug!

Gentle soap & water usually does the trick. Dishwasher, microwave, & oven safe.
